Grip & Performance
Will the mat grip when I’m sweating?
Yes. MIYRA® mats are made with a sweat-activated surface, which means the grip improves as moisture builds during hot yoga.
Do I need a towel on top?
No. The top layer is designed to absorb sweat and grip better with moisture, so you can practice without a towel sliding around under your hands and feet.
What if my hands are dry at the start?
If your hands are dry, lightly spray the top of the mat with water before class. This helps activate the grip from the beginning of your practice.
Is it only for hot yoga?
It is built mainly for hot yoga, Bikram, vinyasa, and sweaty practice. You can also use it for regular yoga, but for dry sessions we recommend misting the surface first.

What is the mat made of?
MIYRA® mats use a soft microsuede-style top layer for sweat-activated grip and a natural rubber base for stability on the floor.
How thick is the mat?
The mat is approximately 4mm thick, giving you cushioning without feeling too soft or unstable during balance poses.
What size is the mat?
The standard MIYRA® mat size is 26″ × 70″ / 66.04 × 177.80 cm.
Does it come with a strap?
Yes. Each MIYRA® mat includes a carrying strap, so you can easily take it to the studio.
Care & Cleaning
How do I clean it after class?
Wipe the mat with a damp cloth after practice, then let it air dry completely before rolling it.
Can I use soap?
Yes, but use only mild soap mixed with water. Avoid bleach, harsh chemicals, and strong cleaning sprays.
Can I roll it while wet?
We recommend letting it dry first. Rolling the mat while wet can trap moisture and create odor over time.
Shipping & Returns
How long does shipping take?
Orders usually enter fulfillment within 24–48 hours. Delivery time depends on your location, and tracking is sent once your order ships.
Do you offer free shipping?
Yes. MIYRA® currently offers free U.S. shipping.
Can I return a used mat?
Used mats cannot be returned for hygiene reasons. If your mat arrives damaged or defective, contact us within the guarantee window and we’ll help.
What if there is a problem with my order?
